Experimental Analysis of pH of Nanofluids in Different Conditions

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the potential of hydrogen (pH) of nanofluids in different conditions. The pH of nanofluids has a significant effect on stability and thermal conductivity as well. Moreover, pH influences the heat transfer properties of nanofluids remarkably. This study is carried out with mono, hybrid and tri-hybrid nanofluids of Al2O3, TiO2 and CNC nanoparticles at different temperatures by standard method and equipment. The experimental study conceded that nanofluids exhibit the reversed conditions in pH range between mono, hybrid and tri-hybrid solutions. Al2O3 and TiO2 mono nanofluids performed 3-4 while CNC mono nanofluids showed 5-7 pH values. The pH range was about 4-7 for all hybrid nanofluids whereas it was around 7 for tri-hybrid nanofluids
