Journal of Fluid and Structural Mechanics is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles, critical reviews, research notes, debate and short reports in all areas concerned with developments in fluid, structural mechanics and interaction between fluid and structure. It publishes authoritative articles covering theoretical, computational and experimental investigations of all aspects of the mechanics of fluid-structural mechanics. Each issue contains papers both on the fundamental aspects of fluid mechanics and on their applications to other fields such as aeronautics, astrophysics, biology, chemical and mechanical engineering, hydraulics, materials, meteorology, oceanography, geology, acoustics and combustion.
Subject areas suitable for publication include, but are not limited to the following fields:
Bluff Body Flows
Bubbles and Droplets
Dynamics of Dispersed Particles
Flow instability and Transition to Chaos
Flow Control Methods
Gravitational Convection Solidification
Instability and Bifurcation in Fluid Mechanics
Interplay between Fluid Motion and Materials Preparation Processes
Multi-phase and Multi-component Systems
Shear and Boundary Layers
Big Data Analysis
Machine Learning in Fluid and Structure
