Journal of Green and Sustainable Computing

Sustainable computing is a recent method towards the green computing. Green computing provides the environment for reduction of energy requirement and resource optimization in cloud computing infrastructure. The aim is to maintain the cost of eco-friendly environment in order to sustain our space with lesser emission of power. Green computing is the emerging practice of using computing and information technology efficiently that enables the organisation to improve the environmental stewardship through increasing the energy efficiency, improving the information management, and providing the appropriate analytical capability. Sustainable and green computing focusses on the study and practice of designing, manufacturing, using, and disposing of computers system peripherals associated subsystems, networking, and communication systems efficiently and effectively with minimal or no impact on the environment. The goals of sustainable and green computing are similar to green chemistry, reduce the use of hazardous materials, maximize energy efficiency for the product lifetime, and promote the recyclability or biodegradability of defunct products and factory waste. Therefore, the aim of International Journal of Green and Sustainable Computing is to publish the original and timely research findings related to Sustainable Computing and Computing for Sustainability to achieve the maximum benefits of green and sustainable technology. Journal of Green and Sustainable Computing has an editorial board comprising prominent researchers from around the world and selects competitively evaluated peer-reviewed papers.
